Agreement to cancel Martín Montoya's contract

FC Barcelona and the player Martín Montoya have agreed to cancel the contract between both parties.

FC Barcelona wish the player great success in the next stage of his professional career.

Martín Montoya leaves FC Barcelona after three seasons with the blaugrana first team which included loan spells at Inter Milan and Betis. The defender made 66 appearances for Barça, scoring twice and made his debut on 26 February in a 3-0 win over Mallorca.

Last season Montoya was on loan first at Italian club Inter Milan then at La Liga side Betis. In preseason this year the player took part in the training camp with Luis Enrique’s squad at St.George’s Park in England.
