Cata Coll to remain at the Club until 2026

The Barça Women goalkeeper signs for three more seasons in the presence of president Joan Laporta

Spanish goalkeeper Cata Coll is to remain with FC Barcelona until 30 June 2026 after extending her contract for another three years in the presence of president Joan Laporta and director Xavier Puig at the Spotify Camp Nou president's office.

Aged 21 years old, Barça's number 13 is one of the most promising talents in her position in the world. Cata signed for Barça in summer 2019 and after spending a year on loan to Sevilla, she returned to provide strong competition for Paños and Gemma. The Mallorca-born keeper is currently close to returning from a knee injury that has kept her out for almost a year.

Cata Coll's thoughts

“I am really looking forward to what I can do in the future. I think I have been working hard, they are trusting in young people, and we will push hard because we want to be Barça's future”

“The last few months have been tough to be honest, because you are feeling very good, but fate has determined that I am here, one day short of a full year injured. I am happy that I can finally see light at the end of the tunnel”
