Preseason tour squad named

List of players for the US tour confirmed, with blaugrana coach Hansi Flick naming 31 players in the touring squad.

The full list is Ter Stegen, Balde, I. Martinez, Lewandowski, Raphinha, Iñaki Peña, Christensen, Romeu, Vitor Roque, Gündoğan, Kounde, Julián Araujo, Lenglet, Pablo Torre, M. Casadó, H. Fort, A. Valle, Pau Víctor, Astralaga, Kochen, Unai, Mika Faye, Marc Bernal, Gerard Martín, Noah Darvich, Guille Fernández, Andrés Cuenca, Toni Fernández, Sergi Domínguez, Quim Junyent and Alexis Olmedo.

Three of the 31 players aren't travelling from Barcelona and will join up with the squad once in the USA. These are Raphinha and Gündoğan, who will join the group on Monday in Orlando, while Kounde will join in Annapolis on August 1. Players with injuries are not travelling to the USA and will continue their respective recovery processes.

Let's not forget that the USA tour begins on Sunday July 28 and runs through to August 7. The preseason preparations across the water include matches for Barça against Manchester City, Real Madrid and AC Milan.

Ter Stegen returns for final session before departure

The FC Barcelona first team were in for a final training session at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper before flying off to the USA. The morning session saw Marc-André Ter Stegen join in on the Tito Vilanova pitch, with the German stopper returning to the fold after being on vacation.
