Tests on Ansu Fati have revealed that he has an injury to the femoral biceps in his left thigh, and he will be out of action until he recovers.
He suffered the injury a minute before half-time in the 3-3 draw with Celta at Balaídos, and was unable to continue the game in which he had opened the scoring with a goal after five minutes.
Eric Garcia also had to leave the field in the first half after feeling pain in his right soleus muscle. Further tests will be required in order to determine the full extent of the problem.
Nico with left groin strain
The tests on the player Nico González have revealed that he has a left groin strain and won't be joining up with the Spanish U-21s.
The 19-year-old midfielder has played 11 first team games this season (9 in La Liga and 2 in the Champions League), and he is making the most of his talent to become an important player for the team.
